Have a look through some great UN Decade of Action ideas that other schools have come up with. Maybe you could use some of them!
If you have any ideas get your JRSO to upload them to the site, it might make Idea of the Month!
Many of the JRSOs have put together fantastic posters. To give you some ideas we have featured the posters for you to look at. Keep checking for updates and contact your local JRSO if you want to submit your own work.

Road Safety Advice
We are the JRSOs at Glencairn PS Stevenston and our names are Saaraa Ramzan, Danielle Bruce and David Kelly. We at Glencairn PS would like to raise awareness to the fact that more people in the world are killed in road accidents than are dying of Malaria. Following 3 simple rules of the road could be the biggest life saver. 1) Reduce your speed when driving 2) Always wear a seatbelt, even on short journeys 3)When crossing the road STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN
JRSO Lindsay Garrick designed the poster to highlight the fact that help is needed to reduce the risks of road accidents around the world and to achieve this the poster bring to the attention that you alone may not suffice but together we can succeed. Aith Junior High School, Aith, Shetland

This is a poster designed in the style of a front cover of a newspaper. It tells people what the UN are trying to do and gives some top tips on road safety. We all worked together to come up with the idea and then we each worked on different parts of it. By Julia, Kieran, Tayler and Elisa!
From: JRSOs Craig Gillanders and Scott Will Fetterangus Primary School If we can learn road users all over the world to STOP, LOOK, LISTEN, THINK we are sure it would make our world's roads safer and help to prevent road accidents.
Hi we are Jennifer McClelland and Elizabeth Ramsay, the JRSOs from Loudoun Montgomery PS in Irvine. Our poster shows the rights and wrongs of Road Safety. We hope everyone will be sensible when they are using the road.
We are Emily Skinner and Nathan Ross (JRSOs) from Knockbreck Primary School in Tain. We wanted to link Scotland with the rest of the world so on our poster the mosquito represents the world and Nessie represents Scotland. The bash, crash and cracks show how many road crashes and accidents happen around the world every year. The houses represent the towns, villages and cities in the world and the people who live there who might be affected in some way.
" car crashing into the world "poster with poem Let's do what we CAN,
to reduce road accidents AND,
make the world a safer PLACE,
for the human RACE.
