Nelson Mandela’s grand-daughter, Zenani, was killed in a car crash two days after her 13^th birthday. 1,000 young people under the age of 25 are killed on the world’s roads every day. Unlike Zenani, most were not born into famous families but, just like Zenani, they are very much loved and greatly missed by their families.

The Zenani Mandela campaign has been set up by her family to raise awareness of the terrible and avoidable toll of death and injury to the world’s young people, and to support the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020.
