Find some books which have a story linked to road safety. Ask if the library has these books:

• Gumdrop gets his Wings by Val Biro (Puffin)
• Hodgeheg by Dick King-Smith (Puffin)
• How to Cross the Road and not turn into a pizza by Anne Fine

If they are not in the library the school might like to borrow or buy them.

The Children's Traffic Club in Scotland nursery pack has a really good storybook which you can use to read stories to younger pupils in the school, or see if you can find these books.

• Let's Go Driving by Gus Clarke, Walker Books
