driving to school

Carry out a survey to find out how many pupils travel to school by car. You can do this by making up a questionnaire or doing a survey outside the school in the morning. You might like to think of ways to help people walk, cycle or car share.

  •     Do they live close enough to walk and if so why don't they walk.
  •     If they have to come a longer way can their parents have turn about to take more than one child in their car.
  •     Is it possible to cycle to school on a safer route.

You might be able to think of a lot of different ways to help them travel in a healthier way. Both for the pupils and for the environment.
